Copying Cds

ok i use nero to try adf copy some cds butit tells me that both my cd drives are on the same IDE cable this is true how can i get it so i can use nero to copy cds ?

Create an image of the CD you want the copy on your hard drive first.

Nero says the same thing for me...I recommends that I change it. I didn't change it and it still copys cd's fine. Did you try to copy one?

I had the same problem...I resolved the problem by taking both cd drives out and changing my master drive to slave and slave to master drive then reinstalling them ...some times this does the trick..

If you burner has burnproof technology, don't worry about it. It should stiull burn without a problem.

yeah, but for those that don't have burnproof, there will be errors on the disk.

Everyone I know who uses Nero gets this problem. Just burn an image on the disk first, by not selecting 'Burn-On-The-Fly.'
