CoolMon Startup Error

Error with CoolMon starting up. It just happened. Check out the screenshot. I followed what it suggested but no luck.

goto your services menu under administrative tools, goto performance logs and alert and make sur the service is set to either manual or automatic...don't forget to hit start on the window before you close it, then try and start coolmon and see if that helps

There's been released a new version of coolmon today, with a lot of bugfixes. You could try that too!

What service is suppose to be on?

I'd hate to bring up an old post but I'm having the same problem. I have the Performance Logs and Alerts on Automatic and whenever I try to start it, WinXP automatically closes it with the message saying something about service not and use and it will close it.

you need to run exctrlst.exe

Download it from microsoft..then just use the arrow keys to move through the options and find the one that is unchecked and it will work fine...if you have problems finding exctrlst.exe just tell me and i'll mail it to you.
