they are decent coolers... no doubt...

prefer teh swiftech coolers with a nice quiet heat sink myself though... my next rig will have one bolted down on the mobo cooling the cpu

preferably a barton lol... if I can afford it...

i'd only go with 100% copper anymore. it has like 20% better heat dissipation than aluminum and is only second to pure gold (which is only like 5% better).

after all... the better the heatsink is, the quieter the fan can be.

agree with that but with the same token.. the swifty's have HUGE overall surface area due to the pins they have... its amazing...

if it was copper it would cost more than it does... and they do a pretty good job...
