I know it's possible to convert a fat32 partition into a ntfs partition without having to reformat.

- Will it damage my files!?

I know it's better to reformat but did anyone do this
and worked ok!?

Thanks in advance and if you recommend to do this
don't forget to specify the command!

Thanks - FourDiceS

From the command line: CONVERT C: /FS:NTFS

Alternatively, you can use a 3rd party product such as Partition Magic 7.0. Lets you do everything from within the GUI and it's a delight to work with.

Thanks... did what you said and it runs fine!

Talk about good people in a good forum!!!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
