greetings again yall...

one of my friends has a problem with his computer.

A legit copy of limewire pro was running on this computer ... was fine forever. then all of a sudden it would need closed ... and its almost like it took over the control alt delete function of the computer.

we deleted every piece of limewire pro ... from the uninstall wizard and through windows explorer program directory.

now ..it seems like something is running in the background and control alt delete does not work.

It could be a trojan highjacking ctl-alt-del.

Post a hijackthis log as well, if those directions don't help you figure it out.

It is highly possible that the problem is being caused by viruses, trojans, or spyware. I would suggest checking out a program called Hitman Pro if the other two options don't work for you.
