I guess most of u Win XP users encounter the consistency scan after improper shutdowns. But before the scan starts, there is a 10 seconds wait...is there a way to shorten this delay? to about 1 or 2 secs.

Thanks

If you have not already done so change the file system to NTFS. No more scanning after improper shutdown.
