hi,

i have an x800gto and want to connect it to my tv. can i just run it to my receiver and then to an s-video input? would that work?

Re: connceting a video card to your tv

you got 2 options.. svideo or svideo to rca converter.. for room i use laptop to svideo to rca on the vcr, but other i use video.. but it should work.. then go to settings on the videocard and change the config on the output.

Yes. Or you can also use one of the adapters that came with the card to connect to HD or AV inputs on a TV.

ok, s-video will be easy. how about audio? how does that work with onboard audio? i have a gigabyte k8triton-sli pro. is that even possible?

You can get a cable with a mini connector that splits into RCA connectors that will input to your receiver.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
