They say that the geforce 2mx400 doesn't perform long enough as it has no cooling fan. Do all of the geforce2mx400 agp cards come without cooling fans? Also, ppl say to go for the pci version of this card as it has a cooling fan.... which one is better?

Some versions of MX come with fans, some without. I had one without and heat was never a problem for it.
The AGP version will give you better performance, with or without a fan.
