Yes, I have seen it all, MdSalih.
Erklaerbaer: ppl will be laughing at my setup long before yours =)
Oh, btw md, your video card sucks compared to the rest of that monster of a machine you call a computer =)

I'll throw in the specs for the computer I will be building, for kicks:
Soyo K7V Dragon Plus! (133MHz bus, max 3GB RAM, On-board sound, network, on-board ide raid (ata100/66/33), oh, Athlon, of course.)
Athlon 1800+ or 1900+, not sure yet.
512MB PC2100 DDR RAM
Not sure how I'll do the hard-drives, but it'll probably be either an IDE from my existing computer or a new ata/100 ~60GB (or two or three 30/40GB in RAID 1)
Compaq RAID/SCSI controller w/4 18.2 GB SCSI3 drives in a RAID 1 configuration
Some form of GeForce video, probably GF3 Ti200
/L.A (oh, I've only got the mobo so far... =( donations are welcome =)

why dont you believe what my comp is considering i just bought it last week and it only has 18 gig HD, and its a dell, but i thought i woukd brag a bit by saying its good points.

  • Quadruple 54.2 Ghz Amd Thunder Bird XX ( yes, thats 4)
  • 20GB PC90009 Rdram
  • Geforce Super XP Ultra (1GB video Memory) .. blazing fast on Doom
  • 10x900GB Raid ATA 1000 Drives
  • 50 inch widescreen Monitor
  • Ultra Keyboard, and ultra Mouse (wireless, can use it while 10 miles from home)
  • 200x DVD Burner
  • 100Gigabit Network Card
  • The Platinum Ultra XP Soundblaster Live XX

I know this may not seem like much, but it gets me by with my word processing and such.. games run ok.

Personally, I liked the 49 inch plasma, the 50 seemed a bit blurry...and the raid is for serving/storing files, the power for programming and for the hell of it. If I'm gonna rebuild, I may as well make it worth my while, no?
/L.A

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
