Wow...I thought I was gutsy for putting 2k on my IBM 380ED...no way in hell would I drop XP on there. I'm running 2k Adv. Server on my new machine now, but it keeps freezing, so I don't know that I'll stick with it...might be heat problems but I don't know. Tough to keep four 10k RPM scsi drives cool with two case fans over a foot away from the drives...might have to cut a blow-hole or two in the case. Any of you have experience with this at all?

Question(s) for Lactic.Acid:

Does your IBM 380ED Overheat? As in, the bottom gets extremley hot? Mines does after about 3 and a half hours. Also, does yours "whine"? I took out my battery because it wasn't holding a charge and it stopped whining. By the way, best game I have found that works on them, Need for Speed 3 - Hot Pursuit. Also Note: Don't put stickers on the bottom of laptops, they melt and catch fire :p. Had a radio station sticker on the bottom and it caught on fire, didn't damage anything, just melted the sticker and some plastic.
