I run XP home on my laptop and have 1 account (my name) that is designated as an administrative account. However, when I try to use advanced settings, I cannot see or perform some advanced tasks that I know are there such as user permissions and what not. If I reboot the computer in safe mode, I can login under the adminstrator account which is not visible at the normal welcome screen and perform all of the tasks that I previously described. Is there a way to allow my normal login to have the same privillages as the safe mode admin account? Also, I cannot find the users tab that is normally in computer management. Is that exclusive to XP pro?
