I'm building this computer, a very basic computer at that, and i am almost done, however i am waiting on my DDR 400 RAM sticks, and to test out what i have built so far i tried to turn it on to see if anything works. The computer turns on, however nothing comes up on the screen yet. Is that due to the fact that i have no RAM in my computer yet? I always thought that my computer will turn on however will have an error when booting. Should i worry about this? Or is it nothing

Won't boot without RAM. But hey, at least the fans spin. So you know you have it wired correctly!

Plug in the speaker. You should get a "missing ram" beep code. That will confirm the MB and CPU are good.
