Compact Flash Problems

Someone help, please! For some reason my PC will not recognize 128 MB compact flash cards. I've tried two different cards from separate manufacturers and two different readers from two different manufacturers. Both readers will read the 16 MB Lexar card that came with my digital camera. Both 128 MB cards work in the camera. What's the deal? Is there a solution? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Regards,

Have you tried formatting the card? There should be an option with the camera to do it. No reason why it should not work.

Yes, I've tried formatting the card. The computer tells me that there's no disk in the drive and to insert a disk ('cept that we're talking flash media here, of course)--exactly like when you try to format a: and there's no floppy in the drive.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
