Comments on network setup?

Okay here is the deal. I have a cable access thorugh RR. For my network setup now I am using a product called WinRoute as a software router. I am using NAT with the internal IP's assigned through DHCP. And because I lack the 24 port switch that I desire I have a 4-Port 10/100Mb and 8 Port 10Mb Netgear Hubs piggybacked to allow service to both of main machines, the WinRoute server, my GF's machine and my laptop so a total of 5 machines. This sound alright?

Well it's not the prettiest network setup but it should work fine. I'd personally save up and just buy an 8 port cable/dsl router, hardware routers are usually a bit better then software and such.

Sounds just fine to me. I agree with Qumahlin on buying that router. Then you don't have to leave your computer on all the time.
