Colin McRae Rally 2.0

I have just bought Colin McRae Rally 2.0 and when i install it and try to run it, an error message comes up saying : CMR2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I can run the network only installation.

I have geforce 2 64mb
sb live 1024
and windows xp prof

can anyone help me, please !

I had this error with Fifa 2002.... It seemed to remedy itself, i kept trying then rebooting and the it just decided to work..

After it had worked once it never came up with an error again.

I expect Microsoft didnt quite get the compatibility right for all games.. 🙂
