Clearing the history list in Media Player for XP

Does anyone know how to clear the hstory list in Media Player for XP? The cluttered list kinda annoyed me at first and now it has turned more into a mission, lol. But I would like to find out how to do it anyway. Any help would be great, Thanks

yea i would like to know how to do this as well. i hate how it somtimes doubles or triples some of the same files. i need to clear it badly

Search your registry for RecentFileList. You may find multiple
instances of it, but keep searching until you find one for
Media Player. You can safely delete all of the entries under
that key. (leave the Default entry though)

I believe they are listed as:

File0 C:\myporn\porn1.avi
File1 C:\myporn\porn2.mpeg

etc.

huh, thanks I'll try that. I wish it were porn but on a 56k modem it makes it difficult to download movies. I just dont like clutter, and the fact that the option isn't there.
