Clearing internet files

Hi

I have recently read somewhere (but have lost it) that even though History/temp internet files/cookies/internet cache are deleted there is still a file in windows that holds details of internet activity. It is a hidden file and difficult to find .

Can anybody shed any light as i have to prove to somebody that a certain site has been visited.
