clear IRQ addresses

Is there anyway to clear out what has been assigned to the IRQ addresses. I want to clear everything out of my usb port IRQ settings cause my keyboard and mouse are acting really weird.

don't touch IRQ's is the simple answer.

IRQ conflicts just don't happen on modern PC's, the CPU's handle them much better that you can.

well I keep getting this error when I plug in my Logitech MX3000 laser desktop (which works ok in the ps/2 ports but not in the USB port)

"One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. FOr assistance in solving this problem click this message."

yeah that means the device failed to register with windows, nothing at all to do with IRQ's. Check that the USB stuff is all working fine. I can guarantee though its not an IRQ issue.

thanks Lord...I just got my replacement keyboard from Logitech and they upgraded me for free from a Logitech MX3000 to a 3200. It's a pretty big upgrade to me. I'm loving this new keyboard and mouse and it works great.
