I think the BBC Radio1 Chart is the only one compiled from singles and record sales instead of Radio Airtime.

In the UK we dont have all pop on the radio, true we do have the crap like Justin Timberlake and blue and all that Rubbish & Bollocks, but we also got other stuff that is decent, but its all up to tastes.
