DK keeps telling me chkdsk needs to run. I restart, chkdsk finds nothing. Get the same message again. I have Win XP Pro.

I'm guessing here. Make sure you have diskkeeper and logical disk management services started.

Hey James : Under the bootime defrag options there is a box to allow you to run chkdsk before you reboot. Be sure it's not checked off .

you could try the chkdsk command from the xp cd.

boot from the cd, when prompted press 'R' for recovery console. your instalation of xp should be# 1 so enter that, and at the dos prompt type 'chkdsk /r' let it run and see if that stops the problem.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
