Just noticed this article and thought I would enquire if we have (had?!) any members in China.... I guess maybe they could be having trouble getting through, scarey thought that a government would try to turn off the net though....

Who would have thought that Communism could be so restrictive ???

This spring, many domestic newspapers also reported the deaths of two middle-school students in Chongqing who were so exhausted by a 48-hour internet marathon that they dozed off on a railway line on the way home

What a load of crap

If I were a Chinese citizen, I would arrange a peaceful protest.

No, no I wouldn't. There's nothing like having 7.62mm rounds in your chest to make you change your stance on government-ordered internet filtering.

The thing is they probably aren't even aware of it!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
