Check Disk at Boot

For the last few days every time I reboot my computer it wants to run the check disk. It never finds anything wrong but still wants to run on every restart. I am running Win XP Pro with SP1 installed. This started happening after I did some tweaks so I used ghost and went back to before the tweaking session but I still get the check disk at every reboot. Any ideas what could be causing this or a possible fix. TIA

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
