I'm probably asking for it by sticking up for this person but I myself am XPeriencing "related" issues. I'm running XP Corporate that I got when I worked at MAXTOR(several years)! I don't work there anymore, and have been having a heck of a time upgrading to SP1. I have seen a tutorial or two but every time I try to dwnld the necessary stuff it times out. Of course I could try changing my key, but I would rather NOT do it that way.

I guess all I can say is, after 6 years of Tech Support, if there is any way to Avoid calling microsoft I will always choose that route. I'm not not trying to incense anyone, but the guy has a valid point; if we don't want to answer we don't have to.
Oops, sorry I forgot, what is his valid point? It qould be: who are we to question his motives? Not too many of us are totally above and beyond using an occ crack/ keygen. serialz2000/Oscar Etc Etc. I AM NOT pointing fingers but I have been around computers a long time, most of us have gone donwn that road. if he is there he will suffer, if not now then then next or next......

My philosophy exactly I tend not to post on forum alot, but tend to spend more time in the #xperience MIRC channel (plug plug)

But I always try and say something valid when I can answer a question :happy:

i cant get on to the chat and come on it is the festive month so can someone bloody help me cuz there was a thread on this and it was nailed down to btopenworld users not being allowed on the server so make a small boys christmas worth it this year and help me get the chat going
