Hey all,

I don't know how it happened, but when I click on "write" to write email in T-Bird, the background is blue, I can't seem to change it. Would like the default white back.

This is on my XP machine.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Heeter

There is Format > Page colors and backgrounds. Maybe you changed something there?

Thanks J,

I managed to chage the color of the background, but it doesn't stick. I click on a new write and it reverts back to blue again.

Did you close out Thunderbird and restart it after you set the background color? Also you did tick the box for "custom background color" before you set the color, yes?

Yeah I know it's a very simple thing (ticking the box), but sometimes that simple thing can be overlooked.

Hey All,

Thanks for your input.

Finally found the area:

Tools->Options->"Composition" tab->"General" Tab.

There is a restore button, and I hit and saved. Restarted T-Bird after.

Thanks all,

Heeter

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
