Changing the Login Background when not using the welcome screen

I've been looking through the site here and found information on how to change the login screen, but it seems like the instructions are to change the welcome screen only. As I hate this feature of xp, I've disabled it (along with many other "cute" features) to get a more "win2k" feel. Does anyone know how to change the background behind the login screen to something besides that hideously bright blue color? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ahh, after days of searching I have found the way to fully customize the background behind the win2k style login. There is a registry key that needs to be added/changed.

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop

Inside that key there are many settings that you can change to fully customize the look of the background behind the login pompt. Here is a web page that tells a little more about it:
