Changing Firefox's client ID thing

I got an invitation to the Windows Live Mail beta. I can access it fine with IE, but with FF some things are missing, and they say that WLM hasn't been implemented to work with other browsers just yet. I'm curious, if I tweak Firefox's "ID" to report that its actually IE 6.0, would WLM work completely now?

I don't think so. The reason it probably doesn't work in Firefox is because of the way IE handles web code. Firefox won't handle it like IE does, therefore I doubt changing the User Agent (which is what I think you're referring to), will make it work.
