My PC have C & D drive, and E: is CDROM,after I install one more harddisk the new drive F is see in XP. I want to sorting the drive number, C D E as harddisk drive and change CDROM(E) to F, how can I change the CDROM number? Thk so much!
Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management > right click on the drive and left click on Change Drive Letter and Paths...
Often quicker to temporarily disable hardware such as Cd drives in Device Manager.
Hard Drive letters will then realign themselves
Then re able hardware
