My XP is installed on my D: drive and I have my boot sector thingys on the C: drive. The C: drive has nothing on it, but if I remove it then I won't be able to boot. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks.
You C: drive isn't actually empty, it will have at least 3 hidden system files on it. XP needs these files to be on C: otherwise it (XP) cannot be on another drive.
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
