I use to download a boot disk off of bootdisk.com which would let me install a cdrom on an very old pc of mine that I have lying around...but I go there today and the site owner is requesting $4 for it, now, I do not even have a credit card, as the donation uses PayPal. Anyone have this file that I am talking about or another way to get my CDROM to work in DOS? I need to do this in order to install an OS on to it.

Thanks

Thanks 2z, but how is that going to help me get the cdrom working? :)

If you use the win95b boot disk the cd rom ends up as the X drive although you can change it in one of the files before booting up.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
