Which is better do you think quality, speed and reliability wise?

Ive always used cdex...so cant give a comparison on performance...but cdex has yet to let me down:)

For ripping from CD's

If you want Quality and Reliability... you should use Exact Audio Copy. It rips 1:1 copies of the song and eliminates any annoying pops etc from bad CD's.

If you're looking for Speed then use CDex.

I use both. CDex can't compare to EAC for ripping but CDex does the same job for encoding =P

Nowadays, it'd be better to use the Ogg standard as fraunhofer (the people holding the patent to mp3) are charging programmers when they make any kind of mp3 decoding system.

Ogg is and always will be a free open source alternative

CDex is much better... better quality...better speed

CDex

CDex used that for years now never no trouble with it at all.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
