cd rom wont auto-play

ok ever since i got my comp, 2 weeks ago, my cd rom wouldnt auto play, now, i got rid of that and have a cd-rw and a dvd-rom, also wont auto play so i know it has to do with the comp settings, help me out somone plz, $1000000000000.99 reward 🙂

GPEDIT.MSC ... hmmm. whenever i typed that in it is never found, so i need more help, i got XP home edition.

The reason why it can't find that file is bcause it only comes with XP-Professional..
But have you tried to right-click the drive and choosed autoplay there??
