CD-ROM Read in Explorer

I have 2 SCSI devices, CD-rom and CR-RW. I can copy successfully with these drives. My problem is however, that when I want to 'explore' my CD-Rom, it states there is no disc inside. The CDRW works fine - any ideas?

Only a basic CD-Rom (NEC CD-ROM SCSI 465 (1910??))

Any opens on this would be appreciated, thanks

Is this the case with any disc you put in - blank, program, home made, etc?

Have your tried downloading and installing the latest driver from NEC?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
