I have a SCSI Cd-Rom 1910a (I think NEC) which I cannot seem to get working although it has worked in the past!!

Windows XP automatically installs the best driver (sets it as a NEC 465 etc etc), however, I cannot read any CD's via this drive through explorer. (Also, On the drive itself, it does not state the actual manufacturer!!)

If I use copying program (ie Clone), it states 'cannot get exclusive access to drive d, close all open files and folders, or any programs that might access the drive'.

Is this a driver issue or my setup??

Thanks

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
