CD Rom Drive Names

Does anyone know of a fix for the following:-

If I insert a cd into the cd-rom even when I have ejected the disk XP still says the cd is in the drive. I have hit refresh but it does nothing. Any advice? Thanks people...

Have you highlighted the left hand plane of windows explorer before hitting refresh?

Make sure you have all of the updates installed from microsoft. If you have them then you'll probably need to wait until SP1 is available... I believe the fix is incorporated in that.
