CD-Burner problems!

Hi!
Ive got a urgent problem!!!
My burner cant be recognized by ANY burner program?!
I can read from it in explorer, but cant use it in burning.
So i wonder if i have to make windows understanding that there is a CD-R Burner instead of a DVD/CD-ROM As it says about it ?

If thats how ill have to do, than tell me PLLZZZ!!!!😕 😕

heres what i suggest.....go to device manager (start>settings>control panel>system> harware tab>device manager)

click the plus sign next to dvd/cdrom devices. hilight your burner and choose action>uninstall. Reboot your machine. Windows will automatically install your burner when you restart. Now install any new drivers (if any) that are available from your burner manufacturer. Then go here and download the patch and install it. Hopefully it helps

and if that still fails, try downloading the aspi patch from this page, sometimes it helps fix a few of these random problems
