ok so here goes...
DeepBurner or
cdburnerxppro or
burnatonce or
ROxio or nero

what do you guys think

Nero has been pretty reliable for me. Yes it's bloated, but has always worked well for me. I guess if it works for you, why fight it.

Well, I've been using Nero for a while now, and have grown quite accustomed to it. :)

Burning programs I use regularly:

Nero (5.x.x.x, and 6.x.x.x)
Burnatonce
EAC (especially good if you have a plextor drive YMMV with other drives)
Burrrrn!
CDRWin (Goldenhawk 3.8+)
CloneCD
Foobar2000 (uses installed Nero engine)

From my experience, I think Nero (5.x.x.x and/or 6.x.x.x) is good. But I have also tried CloneCD and it is good too. :D

Avoid Roxio. It's always been quirky for me.

Since you don't need DVD support Nero 5.x is fine and has a lot less bloat to deal with.

CloneCD is ok for duplicating disks but it is falling behind in the copy protection/backup wars. Alcohol 120 is the latest and will copy just about everything.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
