How to disable it... I don't mean the stupid media popup thing, I mean the autorun.inf one...

If you get hold of Powertools from MS, use the tool TweakUI within it, and there is an option to turn Autorun off (amongst many others!!) There are other tweakers out there that will also do the job: CustomizerXP Tweak-XP etc. etc.
