What is PE Builder?

Bart's PE Builder helps you build a bootable Window CD-Rom or DVD from Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 very suitable for PC maintenance tasks.

I built my own CD using his tool. You can boot from this CD and use tools like McAfee, Ad-Aware, Windows Commander, ERD2002, Disk Commander, Ghost32, etc... straight from the CD!

It also supports Networking, so once booted you can use a small web browser (Off By One) to do some basic surfing, use Remote Desktop Connections, use Putty (telnet).

You can even add your own plugins!

Check it out. It has really helped me recovering dead systems.

Disabled by default, the user needs to buy the program:
Disk Commander by Winternals.
ERD Commander 2002 by Winternals.
Ghost32 by Symantec.
Nero Burning Rom by Ahead Software.

The others work fine for free!
