case, processor, mobo Question

will it fit in the case?

also, is that the best mobo for a amd?

and is

AMD Athlon XP™ 3000+ "Barton" 333 FSB PROCESSOR CPU- OEM

a good processor to buy right now? and does that mobo support it?

The mobo will fit, the case is ATX form and so is the mobo, you don't want my opinions on AMD

This question gets asked all the time. Personally I like the Abit NF7-S motherboard better than the Asus board. The Epox 8RDA3+ is a good board too. But then it really depends on what you want to be doing. Are you going to be overclocking? The Abit or the Epox seems to overclock a bit better than the Asus. I'm not saying the Asus board isn't a good board, I just like Abit and Epox better.

And about the CPU. I would get an Athlong XP2500 Barton and overclock it to an XP3200. Which is what i have currently done and have had no problems in donig so. The XP2500 is the best bang for your buck right now. And if you aren't comfortable with overclocking there are many many sites to teach the basics (its not difficult).
