cant install linux anymore

iono wut happend but every distro i try to install locks the machine after selecting the language and region........*gulp* help me plz 😱

mandrake fedora gentoo suse and debian .........all hang when i pick a language

Make sure plug and play is dissabled in the BIOS? That can cause oddities with Linux, only thing I can think of. Could be hardware related too, or does Windows run fine?

windows runs fine.......just the linux installs lock up

Look for how to disable apci in the kernel boot options for the installer for that distro.

ive had linux installed on this computer b4 and of course knoppix runs..........i just dont get it.......
