Cant get on as Administrator....

Help please. I cant log on to XP home edition as the 'Administrator' account i.e CTRL-ALT-DEL at welcome screen, User : Administrator, Passwpord : blank (none set to my knowledge.

It says there are account limitations set??? Any suggestions?

Sounds like a password got set on the account.

You can only log on as Admin in safe mode with Home edition.
Boot up hold down F8 after disk search and select safe mode
you can then select Admin
dont know why they did this but it works
