I'm not sure if this is the forum for this question, but when boot my computer I get the Bios, it does it's thing then at the bottom it says that it cannot load operating system (windows xp Home). Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated. New board is Abit BD7 Raid with boot code of FF.

hmmm try booting from your xp cd and running the recovery console to see if you can fix it that way. it's not saying invalid disk error so atleast you know it's most likely not the HD

Thanks for the response! I tried that, but what happens is I can hear the xp cd spinning but the Bios screen stays the same (cannot load operating system). It's as though the the CDROM may not be reading the XP CD.

I guess it's off to the computer shop for me.:(

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
