cannot delete any files

OK just did a installation on a new drive. Copied the old docs across and rebooted. Big mistake! I can access the documents, but cannot delete them or any other files for that matter: Getting -cannot delete xyz. cannot find the specified path, blah, blah, blah

How can the path be incorrect if I only right clicked on the file to be deleted???

Any advice???

Try right clicking on any file u want to delete and make sure the read only option is unticked

No, that did not work. I eventually re-formatted the harddrive. Busy re-installing the software. Will keep you posted...
