Yeah, thats very interesting - I hope it leads somewhere.
Its the basis behind cancer cells - their ability not to die 😱 - so I hope this method is the way ahead -- but how to target those specific cells to tell them to die, is that any different than targetting the cells themselves?

A quote from the article:

"When the scientists tested PAC-1 on cancerous and non-cancerous tissue from the same person, the tumour cells were 2,000-fold more sensitive to PAC-1."

Sounds to me like they just give the treatment, and let the cancer commit suicide...
