Can these folders be deleted?

I'm full of questions this week...

Now that Service Pack 1 is installed and all is well, is it possible to delete all the "Windows Update" folders sitting inside the Windows folder? You know, the ones with names like $NtUninstallQ282010$ and $NtUninstallQ326830$ etc...

After SP1, they were no longer in my Add/Remove Programs list.

Yes you can

the whole idea of these files is so you can uninstall hotfixes
if theres no hotfixes to uninstall then these files serve no use at all.

If you should decide to uninstall Service Pack 1 the old hotfixes would be there again. To uninstall one of them you then would need these folders.
If you are happy with you hotfixes you can delete the uninstall folders.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
