Can i use different DDR

I have already 128MB of Samsung PC2100 DDR... I want to upgrade but I can't find anymore of the Samsung memory. There is however another type called BTI or something like that. Do you reccomend that I try using the two together or should I just wait for more Samsung DDR? Is it possible that the two different DDR will screwup the motherboard? I've had this before on a VIA P4X266A mobo where I removed the SDR, put in the blocker card in the space of the SDR, pluged in the DDR and the motherboard never worked again.

Shouldn't be a problem.

(Why did you need a blocker for the SDR??)

Well don't ask me it came with the mobo and said that you must plug it into SDRAM 2 to use DDR. Its probably what bucked up the mobo
