C&C Multiplayer help

I just bought C&C Generals and i can get onto multiplayer. Then i can get into a game room. THen when the game starts. it says that i cannot connect because of my firewall. What do i do?

find out what ports it needs to use and forward them through the firewall.

don't know how to do it? then rtfm for the firewall.
