Eletronic Arts sent out letters to those who were accepted in the Command&Conquer: Generals beta test, with 3,000 applicants getting the good word.

Did anyone get in?
I didn't get time to go and suck up and spend 24/7 on their forums so I don't think I managed to get in

I used to like it when they picked beta testers at random, not by how long your tongue is.

I got into the C&C:Generals beta test. This has been a good year of beta testing for me

Warcraft III, Age of Mythology, and now Generals

However, contrary to your forum suck-up strategy, I did none of that
