I found an interesting detail in the ars technica article about Firfox3 beta 4. They ran a Mozilla benchmark tester named Talos that repeatedly opens and closes browser windows and measures the amount of memory used. Firefox3 uses noticeably less memory than Firefox2.

But the interesting detail is this:
Safari 3 and Internet Explorer 8 could not be benchmarked because they crashed during the test.
Just wanted to pass that along. I recommend you upgrade IE to Firefox today.

Hooray, get FF, run Talos all day long without issues :smoker:

Why is there never any love for Opera? They have to start feeling like Ron Paul.

I have Opera on my Opensuse box and I really like it because it renders pages like IE, so the small webpage stuff that I do, I can check to see if it rendered properly in IE as well as FF.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
