Browser based email client

Hi guys,

Is there such a thing as a browser based, stand-alone, email client? Something that I could configure to send/recieve/view my POP email, just like my thunderbird client.

What about if you were looking for one that allowed users to sign up for an account on the website and be able to check it. Kinda like how yahoo does.

If you were the "postmaster" [think master account] you should be able to add as many email accounts as you wanted I believe.
